Welcome To Dispute Resolution Center of Tri-Cities

We are open and conducting mediations in accordance with the Phase 1 guidelines for COVID-19. This means you can schedule a face to face mediation (which is our standard method of mediation) as long as there are no more than two clients at the mediation table. If there are more than three, or if you are concerned about exposure to the virus, we will schedule a mediation via Zoom over the internet. If you attend mediation at the Center, we have masks (required), hand sanitizer, and disposable gloves available for your use. You will be protected by clear plexiglass dividers at the mediation table. If you schedule a mediation via Zoom, you will receive an email invitation to a Zoom meeting shortly after scheduling your mediation session. You’ll just need to click on the link in your email at the time of your mediation, and the mediators will do the rest. We encourage you to get access to a computer with a webcam, however, if that’s not possible you can participate by voice only. Call us at 509-783-3325 if you have questions.

The Dispute Resolution Center of Tri-Cities offers professional mediation services to Benton and Franklin Counties, assisting those in conflict to reach mutually acceptable agreements. The DRC of Tri-Cities also provides facilitation, education and training to individuals, businesses and organizations to enhance the skills necessary for managing and resolving conflict.  We have successfully mediated over 2300 cases. As a private not-for-profit organization, the DRC of Tri-Cities receives funding from a variety of sources, allowing charges for services to be much less than private mediators. Our purpose is to provide high quality, low cost professional mediation and training services to the community. We believe that communication is the key to getting conflicts resolved!

DIVORCING? You do not need to wait for the courts to open to move ahead. Negotiate the terms of the divorce in mediation at the DRC, fill out the paperwork (available online), and have the Court Facilitator go over your documents with you. Then, wait for the 90 day waiting period to expire and file final papers. Call us ay 509-783-3325.
